This is the last day of the week now. Finish this week and I know that you can do everything else. You are already thinking about all the extra work you have to do this weekend, well don’t. I know easier said than done but seriously don’t bother. Trust me you’ll have plenty of time to think about it when you’re actually doing it. You’re not doing it right now though, right now you just do what the day of today ask of you. This is to not get any further behind then we already are. I know it sucks that it doesn’t count for the debt of reps you have on your plate but such is life. Sometimes you have to work twice as hard just to get back to zero. You know that feeling though don’t you. Make this a declaration, if you can make it back to zero throughout all this, you can make it back to zero in your life. No longer behind in your mind but on time.
You know that feeling though, don’t you? That relentless grind to get back to level ground. It’s not fair, and it’s not easy, but it’s what you have to do. And if you can make it through this, if you can claw your way back to zero, that says something about you. It says you’re capable of more than you ever thought. Because life isn’t about fair—it’s about persistence. It’s about standing up every time you’re knocked down, no matter how many times it happens.
So make this a declaration: If you can make it back to zero throughout all this, you can make it back to zero in your life. No longer behind in your mind, but on time. On time for the things that matter, on time for the goals you’ve set, on time for the life you’re trying to build. This isn’t just about reps or tasks; it’s about proving to yourself that you can overcome, that you can rise above whatever holds you back.
Today is just one day, but it’s part of something bigger. It’s part of the story you’re writing, one step at a time. The work may feel endless, the effort thankless, but there’s power in showing up, in doing what needs to be done even when it feels like it doesn’t count. Because it does count. It all counts. Every step forward is a step closer to balance, to catching up, to proving that you’re not defined by what’s behind you.
And when you get back to zero, when you finally stand on even ground, you’ll know it was worth it. Not just for the relief of being caught up, but for the strength you gained along the way. Zero isn’t the end—it’s the beginning. The beginning of a life where you’re no longer running from the past but moving toward the future. So keep going. Today, tomorrow, and every day after. Do the work. You’re closer than you think.
