The Void Adventure

From here on out you are free
Free to decide what to do
You’ve always been free
You just chose to cage yourself
I see no need for the cage
You said you’d be willing to do it
Do whatever it takes
You chose to live
You chose to play the game
Sure you can quit still
You could except you can’t
You’ve already seen where quitting gets you
Stuck behind a wall
You’re so easy to spot
In freedom I can’t catch you
I’ll lose you from time to time
You’ll be on your own
It’s scary, but not more than that wall
I don’t wish to live behind a wall

Freedom isn’t comfortable. It doesn’t hold your hand. It doesn’t give you instructions. That’s why so many of us trade it for the cage—because at least the cage has rules. At least in the cage, someone else decides what you’re supposed to be. But you chose something else. You chose the wide open. The unknown. And yes, it’s terrifying—but it’s also where you come alive.

There’s no turning back now. You’ve already lived through what quitting gets you. The wall. That invisible barrier you slam into every time you settle. Every time you tell yourself you can’t. You’ve been behind it long enough to know the truth: nothing grows there. Nothing changes. You rot in safety. So you chose danger. You chose freedom. And in doing so, you accepted the risk of losing your way.

But that’s the cost of becoming who you really are. You’ll drift sometimes. You’ll fall off course. But at least you’re not trapped anymore. At least every move you make now is your own. There’s no one left to blame, and somehow… that’s what makes it sacred. This is your life now. Raw, untamed, and fully yours. There’s no more wall. Just sky. Just path. Just forward.
