The Void Adventure

I may not want to do this
Find myself with time
So I’m seeing it through
Making sure that I don’t lose time
At least not for right now
In this very moment I’m good
I’m using my time the way I should
For me that’s all I need to hear
That frees me of thought
I don’t have to think about it
Just find myself in the act
Letting me experience it there
Not me trying to pre-determine it
Never find myself enjoying it like that
I enjoy it when it’s right now
Flowing like that now
It’s a peculiar feeling
It’s not quite freedom
It’s more like duty.

Sometimes the best thing you can do is stop arguing with yourself and just move. You don’t need to want it. You don’t need to feel inspired. If the time is here and the opportunity is present, that’s enough. Use it. That’s what you’re doing right now—making peace with the moment as it is, not as you wish it felt. That’s a kind of power people overlook. The ability to do without needing to feel like doing.

You find something sacred when you stop trying to frame everything. When you stop trying to turn it into something it’s not—some great epiphany or emotional high. It’s just action. Just presence. And in that simplicity, you find something even better than enjoyment: you find peace. Not because it’s easy, but because it’s yours. The moment belongs to you. You’re not wasting it. You’re in it.

It’s not quite joy. It’s not exactly purpose. It’s something quieter. Like duty—but not in a heavy way. More like alignment. You know this is where you’re supposed to be. Not forever, but for now. And for now, that’s enough. That’s everything.
