I’ve begun the spiral
Round and around I go
I return to the void
I missed it
Losing myself in it tonight
Don’t care about anything else
Just want to be lost
Not even try to be found
The mask was getting to me
It’s fake, not me
I pretend for work
All my words feel forced
Gets tiresome faking it
It’s not even worth it either
Doesn’t actually give you anything
That’s why I left today
To remind myself of the truth
None of this matters
Everybody will one day go away
