It’s only going to get harder as time goes on. This is nothing compared to what I’m going to have to doing. If you’re complaining now, you’re going to hate me later. Maybe not, maybe you’ve grown. Understand that if I’m asking for more out of you, it’s because I believe in you. I know that there’s more for you to give, always. You’re limited only by your own mind. Make your mind your partner and go as far as you want to go. Everything you need, you have. There are no excuses remaining.
This is just the warm-up. If it feels hard now, good—let it. Let the difficulty harden you into something unshakable. Because what’s coming won’t ask if you’re ready, it’ll demand it. You can’t afford to treat these early struggles like they’re unbearable. They’re here to prepare you. If you fold here, you won’t stand later. So don’t just survive this part—learn from it. Use it to sharpen your edge. Let it burn off the weakness before it becomes your excuse.
I won’t always be gentle with you. In fact, I don’t think I ever was. That’s because I see something in you that’s worth pushing for. You say you want more, you say you want to become something greater—then don’t be surprised when I demand more out of you than you think you have. Growth doesn’t come with comfort. It comes when you dig past what you think is your final reserve and find a new chamber of power hidden in the dirt. There’s always more. You just have to go deeper.
You’ll realize eventually that your mind was never the enemy—it was an untrained ally. One that mimicked your fears, your doubts, and your limits because that’s all it ever heard. But now it listens to you. It watches you act despite resistance. It learns from what you do, not what you say. So teach it well. Feed it with truth and discipline. Show it that excuses don’t live here anymore. Then walk forward with it—not against it—and go claim what’s already yours.
