Days Like Today…

Days like today I love
They show me improvement
There’s a process to this
Becoming who you want to be
You have lots of work to do
Not just work physically
Spiritual work also
You’ll get tired
Like today
You want to give in for the day
You don’t though
You finish it, as your eyes shut
On top of all that
You must practice faith
I say practice because it’s not easy
You’ll battle with it undoubtedly
I saw it today
The more you lean on your faith
The closer you’ll be to who
you were meant to be
