The days go faster
Hard to hold on
Memories fade through time
The ones important to you
If you want to keep them
Have to be timeless
Only way for that
You have to think of it daily
Force it to be remembered
So even on the blurry days
Or blurry weeks
You still remember why
Why you continue to put up with it
It’s tough when your world gets faster
Hard to maintain yourself
So work to slow it down
Learn to enjoy parts of it
Not all of it
I don’t want to get comfortable.
