How long has it been since me and you spoke? Feels like I’m talking to a stranger now, you’ve changed so much. You are new, you have new problems. You almost can’t even remember the old problems you had now, you can faintly remember the feeling they left behind… but you can never feel that feeling again. Or what it was like to be in it.
Contradictory don’t you see. Something you felt can not be felt when you try to feel it. You remember the feeling with great detail, but the feeling can never be replicated.

What then is the solution?
You have to do it again. You have to do the thing that made you feel that feeling again. The thing, the very action itself is where you can feel it again. You can’t try and feel it though, once you’re doing it again (whatever it is) you must dive into the moment.
Thats what I’ve been learning. The separation between me and you is the moment. I can think of what I would want to do in that moment, but once I’m in the moment I am something else.
The only way I’ve seen to bridge that gap is to enter into the flow. The state of being where you remove yourself from any judgment over the moment you are living. Where you see it all for what it is and you see it all through until it’s complete.
This is why you’ve been struggling lately. With all your new problems, you get your mind tired well before your body does. With a mind as tired as yours it’s no wonder you’ve been feeling so separated from me. Tell me, do you think you’ve been doing all you could be doing to alleviate that stress on your mind?
That goes both ways. I don’t mean it strictly in the sense of do more things and it will come sooner. I mean that you must also learn to rest as much as you can whenever you can. Your body and mind need moments to recover, there’s countless moments throughout the day. Even if they are only a few deep breathes, anything helps pause the down-spike in your energy levels.
It’s simple really, all you have to do is remind yourself (for a moment) that you are much more than just your body. However the body is the one that does all the heavy lifting so it learns to form a mind of its own through its senses. Touch, taste, smell, sound, sight they all play a factor in creating the mind of the body. A separate experience from the overall experience that it is to be a human. The mind is a world of itself, so much to manage in there that I don’t know if I’ll ever have it all in order.
It’s tough isn’t it?
You have to find a way to balance the two experiences of life you are having. I only know my part, but in there (the moment) you are yourself. You are more you than I am me. There is no purer form of existence.
You know…
I hope this means you will talk to me more. Yee both know things the other doesn’t, we can learn from one another and help create a medium. An understanding of life so certain that I get to experience it from a lens I would otherwise dread I never had.
I know you want to see it just as badly as I do… we have to work together on this to make it a reality. Or else we will both die with regrets.
