The Void Adventure

This sensation is familiar
I’ve been here before
Thinking that my ask was too big
Then proving that it wasn’t
It’s only too big if I give up
I got the time
It may take all day
So what, I have nothing else to do
I might as well finish this like
This pain will be felt regardless
Whether now or some time later
I’m already in pain now
Might as well just stick to it
It will alleviate the stress later
I will beat this game
Beat it like I beat it before
Nothing new here, just a different day
Once I reach a certain point
The body will switch sides and join me

You’ve walked this path before—felt the doubt, questioned the timeline, wondered if you were asking too much of yourself. But you’ve proven before that those thoughts are just echoes. They only carry weight if you choose to listen. The truth is, you’ve beaten harder days than this one. You didn’t break then. You won’t now. It’s not too big. It’s just uncomfortable. And discomfort is temporary.

The pain will be part of the process no matter what—you’ve accepted that. The difference is whether you feel it while building something or while avoiding what needs to be done. And if you’re already feeling it now, you might as well give it meaning. There’s no bonus for delay. No reward for hesitation. Every bit of effort you invest now chips away at the pressure waiting for you later. And that trade is always worth it.

You know what happens if you keep going. You’ve seen the shift before. There’s a moment where the resistance gives way. Where the body, after protesting long enough, finally aligns. It stops trying to stop you and starts moving with you. That’s when the work becomes power. That’s when you realize: it was never too much—it was just waiting for you to choose it fully. Keep pushing. That moment is close.
