The Void Adventure

Haven’t had a break anymore
Got to carry on after yesterday
Yesterday’s effort left a mark
Woke up sore and exhausted
Had zero desire to start
That’s exactly why I start
To rebuild my desire
To remind myself of the greater desire
The one that is finishing this
Now I don’t know if I’ll be able
to finish everything I wanted today
I for sure need to do extra though
Got to continue carrying the torch
I can already feel it
There’s still so much to do
Can I really do all that
No, don’t think like that
Just keep doing what you can
Get closer to the end today.

You woke up carrying the weight of yesterday. Soreness in your muscles, fatigue in your thoughts, and that hollow silence that hits when momentum stalls. But still—you started. Not because you felt like it, but because that’s exactly when it matters most. Every time you show up without desire, you’re building it again. Brick by brick. Showing yourself that the spark can be summoned—not waited on.

You’re not sure you’ll finish everything today. And that’s okay. The mission isn’t perfection—it’s continuation. You’ve accepted that some days will be full of doubt, where progress feels like crawling through fog. But even crawling moves you forward. There’s too much on the line to let this moment slip. Not just the tasks, but the identity behind them. Every rep, every choice, every quiet battle is a torch you carry. For the version of you that refuses to drop it—even when your body begs you to.

So no, don’t think about the whole mountain. Think about the next step. And then the next. Get closer to the end. That’s enough for today. You’ve already proved something just by beginning. Let that be your rhythm now. Pain, start, rebuild. Doubt, act, rise. Carry the torch forward, even if it flickers. Even if your hands shake. Because this flame wasn’t given to you. You lit it yourself—and you’ll keep it burning.
