Searching for order
Causes him to fall out of order
With the Universe,
and himself.
He questions why is here again.
He questions everything.
In his defense,
nothing makes sense.
That, he has learned now.
It’s the only thing that does make sense.
What he attempts only serves to delay his place
The spot saved for him in the Universe.
He must only concern himself with himself.
The only thing he can control.
He remains absurd nevertheless…
The more I strive to impose structure and predictability, the more I find myself out of sync with the natural flow of life. This constant questioning of my purpose and existence is both a burden and a gift. It pushes me to delve deeper into the mysteries of life, even as it underscores the inherent absurdity of it all.
In this relentless pursuit of meaning, I often find myself at odds with the Universe. The harder I try to make sense of everything, the more elusive clarity becomes. It’s a paradox that I’ve come to accept: the only certainty is uncertainty. This realization has been both liberating and disconcerting. It has taught me that my place in the Universe is not something to be forced or manipulated, but something to be discovered through introspection and acceptance.
The notion that nothing makes sense is a profound truth that I grapple with daily. It’s a reminder that the world operates on principles beyond my comprehension. This acknowledgment doesn’t lead to despair but to a deeper understanding of my limitations and the vastness of the unknown. By embracing the absurdity, I free myself from the constraints of rigid thinking and open up to the endless possibilities that life offers.
My attempts to control and dictate my path often lead to frustration and disappointment. They serve as distractions from the true essence of my journey. The spot saved for me in the Universe is not something I can reach through force or manipulation. It requires patience, self-awareness, and a willingness to let go of my preconceived notions. Only by focusing on what I can control—my thoughts, actions, and reactions—can I align myself with my destined place.
The absurdity of my existence is not a flaw but a fundamental aspect of being human. It’s a testament to the complexity and richness of life. By accepting this absurdity, I find a sense of peace and resilience. It allows me to navigate the uncertainties with grace and curiosity, rather than fear and frustration. This mindset shift transforms my approach to challenges, viewing them as opportunities for growth rather than obstacles.
Living with this understanding requires a balance between introspection and action. It’s about finding harmony within myself and with the world around me. This balance is delicate and often disrupted by my search for order. But each disruption teaches me a valuable lesson in humility and acceptance. It reminds me that my journey is not about achieving perfection but about embracing the imperfections and uncertainties that define my existence.
As I prepare to face each new day, these reflections ground me. They remind me that my quest for order is both noble and absurd. It’s a dance with the unknown, a continuous process of questioning and discovering. By focusing on myself and what I can control, I navigate this dance with greater ease and confidence. The spot saved for me in the Universe is not a destination but a state of being—one that I approach with each step, each moment of introspection, and each acceptance of life’s inherent absurdity.
