The Void Adventure

I’m slow right now.
It feels like everything I do does nothing.

No progress is felt.
Progress I need, I need to see it.
Not just see it, I need to feel it.
If I can’t, then is it really working?

Am I even doing anything?

Can’t think like this for now.
So what if I don’t feel it today?
I’ve done it before when I felt less.

At least this time, I’m gonna be aware of it.
Aware I am, I feel that much.
So if that’s all I feel, then good.

It means I do feel something then.
Dive into this feeling of awareness.

If nothing else, you have this much.
Maybe this much is all you need then.

So long as you’re aware, all is good.

Sometimes, the hardest thing isn’t the lack of progress—it’s the illusion of stagnation. You’re caught in a moment where your mind craves validation, a sign that your effort is worth it. But not all growth is loud, not all progress can be seen in the moment. Often, it is the quiet persistence, the unseen labor that builds the foundation for something great.

You’ve been here before. This feeling is not new. Recall how it has tested you in the past, and how you still moved forward despite its weight. Awareness—this, at least, is yours. It’s not the adrenaline of achievement, but it is a kind of clarity. And clarity, when paired with action, can take you places far beyond the reach of fleeting feelings.

Let your awareness guide you. Feel the slow rhythm of the task at hand. Each motion, each step, is still progress, whether you can measure it today or not. Remember, it’s not about how much you see or feel—it’s about what you do regardless of that.

What if you trusted that something was growing within you even when you couldn’t see it? What if you stopped waiting to feel “ready” or “motivated” and simply let awareness be enough? The fact that you’re aware now—that you’re thinking, questioning, pushing—proves that something inside you is still alive, still moving forward.

So give yourself permission to lean into this slowness. Allow yourself to exist in this moment without resistance. Know that even if it feels like nothing, it’s still something. It’s still part of the process.
