The Void Adventure

“What if I continue to train harder.
Focusing each day on subtle improvements.
Jumping faster, breathing better, stretching better.
What if I compile all these emotions I feel into myself through training.
Will I grow with them,
or grow out of them?
Don’t even know which of the two I’d prefer.
To be honest it doesn’t matter, I just need to focus on Today.
Whatever Today is.
Your heart still beats?
Your legs still move?
If so then go on and get on with it. Finish what you said you would do.
Pour out more of yourself onto the world.
Soak in all this misery as fuel.
You’ll make it through it I know. See it through with your head up high.”
