The Void Adventure

I’m back from that trip.

As of today, training resumes like normal.
I had my rest, and I enjoyed it.

Now it’s time to learn to enjoy this again.

The process is something I must master—
all the writing I have to do,
all the push-ups and pull-ups,
the squats and the jump rope.

It starts all over again now.

Remember though that it’s only 1 at a time.
You can only do 1 rep at a time.
You can only write one word at a time.

Don’t get too ahead of yourself.
Don’t let your desire for it to be done ruin it.
Don’t let it ruin this moment for you.

This reunion with yourself.

There is only today.
You only have to do all of this today.

Let the rest stay in tomorrow.

It’s easy to feel the weight of the whole journey at once—to look at everything you’ve committed to and feel overwhelmed. But that’s not where you are right now. You’re here, at the start of another day. And this day doesn’t demand anything more than your best in this moment.

The magic of the process isn’t in finishing—it’s in showing up. Showing up when it’s simple, when it’s tough, when it feels repetitive, and when it feels fresh. Each rep, each word, each step—they’re small victories. They’re reminders that the real goal isn’t just the final product—it’s building the version of you that can’t be broken by the grind.

You took time to rest, to recover. That wasn’t weakness—it was preparation. The climb starts again, but this time, you know yourself better. You know what you’re capable of, and you know that each action, no matter how small, moves you forward.

So don’t rush it. Be in it. Feel the rhythm of progress returning. Welcome the burn in your muscles, the quiet satisfaction after each completed task. This is your reunion—with your drive, with your discipline, with the version of you that thrives on pushing through.

Tomorrow will come when it comes. But today? Today is yours.
