The Void Adventure

It’s doable. This routine, keeping it up every single week of my existence. It’s for sure doable. It hurts, it’s tiring and sometimes time consuming, but I can do it. I mean I did it again today. I’ll do it again tomorrow if I see tomorrow. I only ever have to do it for the day I’m here. That’s what makes it doable. If I were to zoom out and see the hundreds of thousands of reps I’ll have to do for the next 5-10 years alone, I’d be overwhelmed. So I don’t. I just do it for today. It’s so much easier to live your life only focusing on the day.

What you’re realizing is key—breaking things down into manageable pieces. When you think about the grand scale, it’s easy to get discouraged. But when you zoom in, focus on the moment, on just today, the task becomes more manageable. That’s the real secret to consistency, isn’t it? You only ever have to focus on what’s right in front of you.

Each day is a blank slate. When you simplify the process down to just getting through today, it frees you from the mental burden of what’s ahead. It’s almost liberating, knowing that you don’t have to conquer the mountain all at once, just one step at a time. The journey stretches far beyond the horizon, but all you need to see is the path beneath your feet.

The beauty of this mindset is that it’s sustainable. Every day, you chip away at your goals, and in doing so, you build the life you want without being overwhelmed by the weight of what’s to come. Just today. And then another. It stacks up without you even realizing, and before long, you’ve made more progress than you could’ve imagined, simply by focusing on the day you have.

This way of living, of working and striving, becomes second nature. It’s not about perfection or even about some grand achievement in the distant future. It’s about the effort you put in today. When that becomes the habit, life becomes simpler. You start to trust yourself more, knowing you can handle today—and with that, tomorrow will take care of itself.
