The Void Adventure

There are claims out there that state, “Those who keep their light on will make it”.
So I stand here looking to see who still has theirs on. Everyone is so focused on it that they don’t even see where they’re going.
The light can blind you if you stare too long.

Quite the opposite with the dark.
Stare too long and you gain your sight.

As I ponder the common belief that those who keep their light shining will find their way, I can’t help but notice how everyone is so fixated on their own light that they lose sight of where they’re actually going. The light, while meant to guide, can become blinding if stared at for too long.

Conversely, I’ve found that darkness offers a different kind of clarity. By embracing the dark and staring into it, my vision becomes sharper and more profound. It’s a stark contrast to the light, which obscures as much as it reveals.

This realization leads me to question the conventional wisdom. Perhaps true understanding and sight come not from solely clinging to the light but from also embracing the darkness within and around us. In doing so, we gain a deeper, more balanced perspective on our journey.
