Your life is a gift, though it is an unusual one.
Unlike other gifts, this one can and will be taken from you. No matter how attached you grow to it, whether you like it or not. Doesn’t matter, there is a time limit placed on this gift from the moment you received it.
Maybe then you think to yourself, “Well how could this be a gift if I can’t keep it? Are gifts not meant to be something you have, that is yours. Why must you take my life from me? Why then show it to me in the first place if you’re just going to take it away in the end?”.
All valid questions to be made from an egotistical POV. When you look at it through the lens of the gift, it’s easy to be upset at the ending.
However, I bet you can’t even tell me what the lens of the gift you’re looking through is, you wouldn’t have the slightest clue how to explain it to me.
Well, maybe then there is something to this gift you just aren’t seeing yet. Think about it.
This gift gave you the eyesight of life, of what it means to be alive and kicking. To be aware of your existence. That means that it also gave you the awareness of your non-existence.
Yea I know what you’re thinking. I know that it doesn’t sound to great at fist glance of it. Why on earth would you want to know about your non-existence in the first place?
Well, because without knowing it you wouldn’t know yourself before haven existed. You’d just think this is what is.
Here I’ll break it down for you.
Now that you have experienced existence, when you die you will not enter the state of nonexistence the same.
How could you?
Before there was no you to even judge the situation of not existing. This gift allows you to be able to understand what it means to not exist, what’s on the other side of the coin.
Still you won’t exist so what’s the point of knowing that anyway?
Well… let us bring it all back to the ego. To that gift you were given through the life you recieved.
While your body is physical, your ego is purely mental. Meaning that it doesn’t exist on the physical plane your body exist in. It can’t exist there.
It can however, and does, grab a host in the physical world. That host being your body. Within that host it feeds thoughts and ideas to it in order to persuade the host to act on its own will. Bringing itself to life.
This in turn births the concept of a will to begin with. A will is the heart of the ego. It’s what beats life into it.
So if you, the non existing one, can become one with the ego… you can keep the gift.
The next time you return to the state of non being, you will see what I mean. You will watch as your ego begins to map out that realm of existence. Of non existence to be more precise.
You’ll see how your ego judges and perceives that state of non being to that of being.
Then you’ll watch how miraculously your ego births life into that state of nothing.
Then you’ll understand the cycle of everything.
