I don’t actually know if it really does get better, but what I can say is your outlook on it most definitely can get better. Everything “bad” that happens to you is only bad due to the perspective you choose to look at it from. It’s within your capabilities, at any moment, to decide that you want to change how you feel about something.
It starts with lying to yourself first.
The same way you lie to yourself that everything in your life is bad, and how life is nothing but a struggle. That same way allows you to flip the narrative on its head at the snap of your fingers.
You should walk around with a lens over your eyes so that everything you see, you see as it being entirely for your benefit. Whatever may be happening to you, whatever you are doing.
Trying this out might make it feel like a drag overtime. You can only hold a facade up for so long before you get tired of it. Remember though, you already tired of the facade you had until now. The one that says you can never catch a break. That the world is unfair and out to get you.
So when it becomes a chore to keep up, let it be a chore. It should not concern you. You want something.
Anyone can desire to have something. Few hold onto it, even fewer pair it with action.
Still to have it is not nearly enough, you must know you have it. You must know that no matter the odds and the conditions placed in front of you, you will work through them all.
A secret though, those who can keep both desire and action, through the thick of it, get a gift that only few have collected. Gifted by the grace of their own perseverance in their own goal.
The gift is an added strength to both their resolve and drive. What I mean is it raises the floor for you of what you once deemed difficult and daunting. Allowing for you to push to even more challenges.
It gives you an edge over the competition that simply can’t be competed against without one of your own.
That is why there is such a big gap between the people on top and those on the bottom. It is because of a thing called exponential growth. It is when your experience and confidence match in strength. Leading to a meteoric rise in ones own capabilities. In fact, new found abilities seem to pop up every day. Opening new doors of the game for you which were never accessible to you before when you started this journey.
You simply can’t get what you never had by giving up when the road gets slightly difficult. Even if the difficulty may seem monstrous in your eyes. Keep moving forward. You will see that it was never really as big as you pictured it to be when you were dragging yourself through it. Once you get yourself past it, you will turn to see it from higher atop the mountain you are climbing and see that it was never more than just another rock.
No one can show you what the top of the mountain actually looks like, you have to see it for yourself. Simply because it is not just about what you see when you’re up there, but what you feel knowing you made it up there. That is much more difficult to describe, not even with a picture.
