The Void Adventure

You’re hurting now. All this extra training you’ve done is catching up to you. All this extra work you put in with little rest is wearing you down. Right when you started to near the finish line. You only got 7 more of these to go before you’re off in La La land vacationing with your woman. Can you really not make this final push. It’s obvious that you can. You know it. I know it. Countless times you’ve been here before in worse conditions than this. You did it then. Nothing is stopping you from doing it again. Your body knows the movements don’t you worry about it. Don’t add thoughts to them, just do the movements. Let the body whine all it wants but it can’t pretend it doesn’t know what to do. Trust it to get it done, don’t baby it.

It’s the same story every time, isn’t it? The moment you begin to push against the boundaries of what you thought was possible, something inside starts to scream for relief. But this isn’t the first time you’ve heard that voice. You’ve quieted it before, not by silencing it completely, but by proving it wrong through action. It’s not about ignoring the pain; it’s about acknowledging it and moving through it anyway. You’ve trained for this exact moment — not just your body, but your mind, too. Every rep, every early morning, every cold start has prepared you to embrace this feeling, not shy away from it.

There’s a reason why most don’t make it this far. They give up right at the point when the real transformation begins. You won’t. You can’t. This is where you redefine what’s possible for you. The closer you get to the finish line, the louder the resistance becomes, and that’s how you know you’re close. It’s the final guard before the breakthrough. It’s not here to stop you — it’s here to ask if you really want it. And I know you do. You’ve proven that time and again.

So go ahead, feel the burn, the fatigue, the heaviness in your limbs. Let it all wash over you because it’s part of the process. This isn’t punishment; this is the forge, the place where you get molded into something more than what you were. And when this is over, when you’re standing at the end of it, looking back at the path you’ve just carved, you’ll understand that every moment of pain was worth it.

Your mind knows the stakes, but your body — it knows the way. It’s performed these movements a thousand times. Trust in the work you’ve put in. This final push is the culmination of everything you’ve trained for.
