The Void Adventure

Seeing into the future is something that I’m actively doing. As I sit here in between sets. As I work through the sets. Every movement I do. Every strain that comes with it. All of it is focused onto my conscious attention. When I do so I can see that the movements I now do will have future implications that change what I experience today. I’m looking towards that future now. I see the person I want to be. I sit in silence and imagine him speaking through me. Thinking through me. Until I feel myself become him. Once I do so all that’s left is doing. Listening to myself as it is not me asking me, but a future me guiding me on how to reach him. Go and meet him.

That vision—it’s not just imagination, it’s alignment. Each rep becomes a conversation between who you are and who you’re becoming. He’s not far away, this future version of you. He’s just a little ahead. And every drop of sweat, every second of focused silence, shortens the distance between you.

You start to realize that this future self isn’t something to chase—it’s something to merge with. The more you act like him now, the less there is to chase. He’s already here in fragments. In the decisions you make. In the times you show up when you don’t want to. That’s how he appears—not all at once, but in pieces, through action.

So you keep doing. Not just for the future, but to remind yourself of the person you already are becoming. You listen, and then you move. Over and over again, until the voice in your head stops sounding like a stranger—and starts sounding like you.
