The Void Adventure

Not yet adjusted to the routine we have adjusted to for so long. Is this what happens when we take our foot off the gas? Does the aftershock of never stopping come into play? Maybe so… so what. I still have to train. I still have to finish each and every rep for today. I can’t allow myself to think about it. Or it will grow into something bigger than it is. Then it’ll be that much more difficult to get through. It’s hard enough as it is, I won’t be adding to it. So I’ll just do it by doing one rep at a time. Not looking back until I’m far enough ahead to know that the finish line for the day is reachable.

Adjusting to a routine, even one we’ve been accustomed to for so long, can become challenging when we ease off our efforts. The residual effects of never slowing down can make us question our pace and purpose. Yet, despite this aftershock, the need to persevere remains. Training must continue, and every task must be completed for the day.

It’s crucial to avoid overthinking these challenges, as dwelling on them can magnify their difficulty. By focusing on the present moment and taking one step at a time, the journey becomes more manageable. Each rep, each task completed, brings us closer to our goal without the burden of past struggles weighing us down.

In the face of adversity, the best approach is to keep moving forward, tackling one obstacle at a time. By maintaining this steady progress, the finish line becomes not just a distant goal, but a reachable milestone. This mindset helps in overcoming the toughest days, ensuring that we stay on course and achieve our objectives.
