Took me some time away from it all
Didn’t know I needed it but boy I needed it.
You’d think that I would be recovered now
That today I’d wake with some energy to me.
It unfortunately isn’t that way
I have little to no energy.
On top of that my muscles are in pain
All over my body is a constant sting of pain.
Looks like it’ll be more difficult that I thought
Well so be it then.
I won’t worry too much
Instead I’ll use today to ease my body back into
the flow of things.
Training will be carrying on into the weekend
Since I took some time off early this week.
That’s because there is no time off
Not when it comes to training and writing.
At best it’s delayed, like it is now.
It will get done though
I’ll be back on track, this much I know.
After taking some much-needed time away, I had hoped to return rejuvenated, but instead, I find myself grappling with unexpected fatigue and muscle pain. Despite the break, the energy I anticipated simply hasn’t materialized. Each movement is accompanied by a sting of discomfort, reminding me that recovery is often more challenging than anticipated.
Rather than letting this deter me, I’ve decided to approach today with patience. Easing back into the routine gently, I’ll allow my body the time it needs to readjust. Training will continue into the weekend to make up for the days off earlier this week. In this journey, there truly is no time off, whether in training or writing. Delays may happen, but they don’t signal defeat. I am determined to stay on course and complete what I’ve set out to do. This temporary setback is just another part of the process, and I know I’ll soon find my rhythm again.
