The Void Adventure

Just be quiet today. I hear the complaints wanting to seep out of your mouth now. If you do you risk believing yourself. Just don’t say a word. Don’t say anything. Little by little the day will pass and the time will take you to another place. All you have to do is say nothing and go with it. You may not like the way the water is flowing, but you’re in it. You can’t swim against it no matter how hard you try. You’ll just tire yourself out to the point where you have no strength to hold yourself up, and you’ll drown. Sacrifice for now and go where it tells you. This is all for the end goal to remain yourself. It’ll be worth it to suffer through it now.

There’s a certain power in silence, in resisting the urge to voice your discomfort and dissatisfaction. Complaints have a way of solidifying thoughts, of making what’s temporary feel permanent. When you give voice to your frustrations, you risk turning them into something more than they are. They become more real, more substantial, and suddenly, what was just a passing discomfort becomes a wall standing in your way.

But today, you don’t need that wall. Today, you need to flow with whatever comes your way, to let the current carry you instead of fighting against it. It’s not about surrendering or giving up; it’s about conserving your strength, about recognizing that there’s a time to push and a time to let things unfold. Right now, you’re in the latter—fighting the current will only drain you, leaving you exhausted and vulnerable.

In moments like this, it’s crucial to remember the bigger picture. The discomfort you feel today is temporary, but the consequences of giving in to it could linger far longer. By choosing to remain silent, by refusing to give your discomfort a voice, you’re protecting your long-term goals. You’re ensuring that you’ll have the strength and clarity to keep moving forward when the time is right.

This is about sacrifice—sacrificing your need to express every frustration for the sake of something greater. It’s about staying focused on the end goal, on the person you’re striving to become. The path isn’t always easy, and there will be times when it feels like the current is too strong, when the water is too cold or too rough. But these are the moments that test you, that shape you into someone who can withstand whatever comes their way.

So, let the day pass. Let the time take you where it needs to. Trust that by holding your tongue, by keeping your complaints at bay, you’re not giving up your power—you’re harnessing it. You’re keeping your strength for when you really need it, for when the fight is worth it. Today is about patience, about endurance, and about the quiet strength that comes from knowing when to stay silent. In the end, you’ll see that it was worth it, that this sacrifice was just another step in becoming the person you’re meant to be.
