If you don’t stop and look around every once in a while, you’ll end up missing what this life was all about. Life is to be lived, and lived fully.
Let’s say that you could snap your fingers and be wherever it is you want to be, or have anything you wanted to have. I bet that when you got it or got there you’d just find something new to desire. It’s human nature.
Those who stop wanting stop needing. Content with where they are they could die at any moment.
Not a bad thing at all, it is quiet powerful to desire nothing. Though you must actually just have that desire without thinking. Or else you’ll find yourself in a loop of desiring not to desire.
We’ll always want something and that’s ok. It’s ok to want more than what you have. The problem liese when you start cursing and pointing fingers as to why you don’t have it now. that’s not only useless, it’s backwards.
There is nothing stopping you from enjoying your day. Even if the day is shit to you, you can enjoy it with the knowledge of better days to come. You might even find yourself laughing at all your misfortunes as they come. They will arrive without any need of your assistance. Yet you go out of your way to give it your energy and worry about it before it even gets to you.
Imagine you knew without a shadow of a doubt that tomorrow was going to be the most challenging day of your life. You’d spend most of Today concerning yourself over matters of Tomorrow.
When you spend that long thinking about something before it arrives, you can’t be surprised when it arrives and makes you feel exactly how you thought it would make you feel.
Yet… even if it meets your expectations, it doesn’t compare to the state of limbo prison you put yourself in hours/days ahead of its arrival.
The alternative being one who knows what tomorrow holds, yet doesn’t concern themselves with it. Instead they live the present moment that much more intensely.
The feeling will come without need of your aid. Use that knowledge of it to boost your present day, because right now in the moment you’re in you’re not there. You’re here. It isn’t your concern.
On top of that, simply tackle one concern at a time, even if you just got hand delivered a package of concerns.
Doing so will save you energy and allow you to tackle each one with full presence of mind in tact.
Which will teach you a valuable lesson, that is that you’re more than capable of dealing with them all.
This understanding will help aid you in the concerns to come. Until concerns stop being concerns and start being simply task.
You strip away the excess of the big monster you’re facing. Which shrinks the monster itself and in return grows you.
If you love yourself, stop worrying about what you’re already going t worry about when it arrives at your door. Enjoy this moment you’re in before that which you worry about gets here.
When it does get here just handle it one step at a time, shrinking it with each step completed.
Relaxed and composed.
