The Void Adventure

Yes, it’s a real eye that you can attain. A sight that allows you to see anything at any given moment as if it were endless. It’s an eye that removes thought from its operating system. It just sees. It just does its job.

You must remove everything though. Even the concept of time, or that of space. It must all go. Just see what you’re looking at. See it as something that too, just is.
You can watch how you no longer get trapped in the domain of something other than your own mind. Walking freely in the outskirts of space.

You know who those people are, the ones that are out walking freely.
It’s the ones that you can’t easily anger or fluster. Who always know where they are and who they are. Who have lines and don’t let others cross them. Who set up their own space on this earth and care for it every single day.

The eye isn’t some impossible thing to attain, it isn’t something you have to earn either. It’s just a way to see the world without any other added input but your own.
Not only is it attainable, at a certain level, it becomes a requirement to have. Or else you just become an even bigger cog in the wheel of life.
If you want that then by all means do so. Leave the eye behind.
If you want something more than that, change how you see.

It’s only an eye that has the focus of the self that can attain something for the self.
All the goals you set out in life that YOU want to achieve, then you need not to be selfless but actually selfish. You need to do what you can to maximize the time you do have on this earth in order to reach that goal you set out for yourself.

Though if you’re still doubting whether or not it’s ok to be selfish, I’m sorry to say there is nothing I can do to change that view of yours. The only thing I can do is offer you a chance to see it for yourself. By simply trying it out for yourself for a little while. See it as nothing more than a test and nothing else.
If you don’t like it then just go back to living how you were living already.

I happen to think you won’t though, not once you get a glimpse of it.
I believe that you’ll see that being selfish is the way to being selfless.

When you start to treat your time as the most important thing in your life, then you’ll begin to live it in a way that supports all the things that are most important to you. You’ll want to be the best possible version of yourself in order to best provide that selflessness that you so badly crave. It’s about doing what you must, not doing what you may think is right…
but again, you can hear out or not, at the end of the day it’s up to you.
We all do what we want in the end.
In the end, we’re all inherently selfish to our core.
