Another day here repeating days
It’s the same requirements
The same days over and over again.
If I complain though I lose
The only way out is through
By just doing everything I need to do.
Then I can think about it
After it’s all done again.
Not before or during
That only prolongues the suck.
Waiting until it’s done is the key
You gain a new perspective
You build resistance over the pull.
The pull is comfort
Comfort of only doing what you want to do
Boxing yourself in to operating on feelings.
I wish to surpass my feelings.
I want to be my own unstoppable force.
It’s easy to get trapped in the monotony of repetition, where every day feels like a carbon copy of the last. The routine, the grind, the endless cycle of the same tasks can wear you down, making you question why you’re even doing it in the first place. But that’s where the real challenge lies—not in the tasks themselves, but in your ability to push through them without letting the monotony defeat you.

Surpassing your feelings means taking control, not allowing them to dictate your actions. It means recognizing that feelings are fleeting, but the results of your efforts are lasting. By choosing to act despite how you feel, you’re taking a step toward becoming the person you want to be—the one who doesn’t give up when things get tough, who doesn’t back down when the routine gets tedious.
Every day is an opportunity to build that unstoppable force within you, to prove to yourself that you can handle whatever comes your way.
