The Void Adventure

The freedom to choose who you want to be
That was the goal from the start.
I hope you haven’t forgotten that
A shame that you need to divert
Now you have to do what you don’t want to do
In order to one day do what you want.
This is where we’re at now
This is what it has come to.
Yea a damn shame it is.
Necessary though, can’t do it without it.
You were going nowhere before
Just walking around in dreamland
Never fully present, never fully yourself.
At least now you’re present.
It gives you the platform to be yourself
So even though you do what you don’t want
You now get to be who you want.
The trade off is worth it to me.

The journey towards self-actualization often involves difficult choices and necessary sacrifices. From the very beginning, the goal has been to achieve the freedom to choose who you want to be. However, this path isn’t always straightforward. Sometimes, it requires diverting from your preferred course, doing things you’d rather avoid, all in the pursuit of a greater goal.

Currently, this is the reality we face—engaging in tasks that aren’t aligned with our desires, but are essential for our growth and future aspirations. It’s a challenging and often frustrating process, but it’s necessary. Previously, you were stuck in a state of inaction, never fully present or connected with your true self. Now, despite the discomfort, you have a platform to be fully present and authentic.

This trade-off, though difficult, is ultimately rewarding. By embracing the tasks you dislike, you gain the opportunity to be who you truly want to be. It’s a transformative process that, while demanding, is invaluable in the journey towards becoming your best self. The sacrifices made now pave the way for future fulfillment and self-realization.
