Who I Am Now…

Almost didn’t wake up
Almost said “later”
Lost some time in the process
I got up though
Late but I did
Up right now
Doing what I said I’d do
Again showing myself I can
It’s all about showing myself
Proving to myself I am
I am who I want to be
No longer in need of tomorrow
I’m doing it all right today
It’s freeing to do it today
Not needing to concern myself
Not worrying about changing
Not constantly dissecting my actions
Telling myself how I ought to be
I just am that way right now
